It began on a beach in South Miami. Mom was in tears after a recent cancer diagnosis, fearing our unborn child would never know who she was. I remembered a quote: "As long as a child remembers their parent, they are never truly gone."

On that beach, Storybox^™ was born. Because your stories matter — they'll matter even more in the future when people want to get to know you!

In a world that is increasingly digital, we realized that while we take more photos than any generation in history, the stories behind those photos are being lost. A file name like IMG_4920.jpg doesn't tell you who was there, why they were laughing, or what happened next.

And in a world where our private content is owned by social media apps, we needed a trusted way for people to own their stories, and deliver them as a legacy to future generations.

Storybox was born from the desire to bridge the gap between the older generation — the keepers of history — and the younger generation... the masters of technology.
